Sky to Sea Tour

Start at the base of Eaglecrest Ski Area. Learn about the sub-alpine beauty of the Southeast Rainforest.

Ride 5.2 miles downhill on a paved road stopping along the way for interpretive talks. Enjoy spectacular vistas of mountains, valleys, and glaciers.

Next, travel along a fairly flat road for a breathtaking view across Fritz Cove of the Mendenhall Glacier. 

Finally, ride to False Outer Point along the rugged Southeast coastline; then enjoy a light snack and beverage.

 

TIME: 3.5 hours

ACTIVITY LEVEL: easy to moderate

TOTAL DISTANCE: 9.5 miles

NOTE Participants must be in moderate to good physical condition and at least 4’10” tall. Minimum age is 10.

All Tours Include

Full van support and trailer, hybrid mountain bike, water bottle, raingear, gloves, and helmet.
