2022 Bike and Brew Tour

Biking, Glacier Viewing and Beer Tasting!

Join us for an enjoyable, beautiful, and active adventure in Juneau, where we take you to the Mendenhall Valley, and we'll hop on bicycles and explore roads, bike paths, and trails through the amazing Tongass National Forest. Along your ride, you will see lakes, a quaint log chapel, and the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. There are also opportunities to see, depending on when, various Wildlife, such as Black Bear, Porcupine, Bald Eagles, Sitka Black-Tailed Deer, and Salmon.

Our professionally trained local guides will describe Juneau's history, culture, local Wildlife, and life in a Rainforest! Once you've biked and had time to walk around the Glacier Visitor Center area, we will bring you to the Flight Deck Restaurant, in the Merchant's Wharf in Downtown Juneau, for a tasting of award-winning beers from micro-breweries across Alaska.

We will meet at the Mount Roberts Tramway parking lot, welcome you, and provide transportation to our starting location. There we will conduct a safety briefing and introduce you to your bike.

After biking, we will return to Merchants Wharf, close to the Tram, and provide you with a coupon for a free beer flight at the Alaska Fish and Chips Company at the Flight Deck used anytime during your stay in Juneau.

For the beer tasting, you must be at least 21. A valid photo ID with a date of birth is required. If you are not a beer drinker, other beverage options are available (soda, bottled root beer, wine). Food can be purchased during and after tasting.

The minimum number of participants to run the tour is 4. If we do not have at least four participants, your money will be refunded, or you can be placed on the tour the next day if it runs. Participants are required to follow local and federal guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

After booking, you will receive a confirmation via email. Our liability waiver must be signed in advance. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or their legal guardian. Children 16 to 17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate without parents or their legal guardians.
