Visit our Cycle Alaska Dock Shop, your ultimate destination for bike rentals (road, mountain, street, and electric!), great Cycle Alaska merchandise, and expert suggestions from locals to enhance your experience.
We are conveniently located at 255 Marine Way, opposite Marine Park, where most cruise ships dock!
The Dock Shop is temporarily closed for the winter but will reopen in Spring! Our primary location is open all year!

E-Bikes
Electrify your ride! Our Trek Verve+2 e-bikes are the perfect chariot for cruising around Juneau with ease. They're best suited for pavement yet capable on variable terrain and equipped with fenders and lights!
Looking to take on the trails? Try the Trek Rail 5: a full suspension E-MTB equipped to sweeten the climb so you can rip the descent.
Guided Audio Tour
Our Guided Audio Tour add-on provides tidbits of Juneau's history, culture, and wildlife while guiding you on a 13 mile ride to the Mendenhall Glacier.
Each add-on provides access for up to 2 devices.
A cell phone with network capabilities is required to download and access the tour.

Bike Rental FAQ
What types of bikes do you rent?
We have a little of everything: hybrid, gravel, hardtail MTB, full suspension MTB, E-bikes, E-MTB, kids bikes, Burly bee trailer, and one tandem!
Where can I ride?
Take a look at our routes page for some popular cycling destinations. The most popular destination among those who rent bikes the Mendenhall Glacier. It's 26 miles roundtrip on bike lanes and bike paths with minimum elevation gain/loss.
Looking for a mountain bike trail? Treadwell Ditch Trail and Perseverance Trail are two excellent options with trailheads just a short ride from our shop.
How far is the bike shop from the cruise ships?
We have opened a new location for rentals! Our "Dock Shop" is located downtown across the street from the cruise ship docks. You will check-in for your rental here and we will have it ready to ride!
Do you have helmets?
Safety first! We provide helmets, bike locks, a multi-tool, spare tube, bike map, water, and a snack with every rental!
What if it's rainy?
We're located in a temperate rainforest, so rainy weather is never out of the question. We advise packing a waterproof jacket and pants just in case.
Our rental cancellation policy: 100% refund if cancelled before 48hours of the reservation start date. 50% refund if cancelled before 24hours of the start time. 0% refund if cancelled within 24hours of the start time.
Do I need to book in advance?
We advise reserving bikes in advance to ensure you and everyone in your party has the bike they need for an enjoyable ride. We do offer walk-in rentals. Head into the Dock Shop to see what's available!
